What is usually playing in your headphones?
I usually have Afrobeats playing. I love the energy and passion the artists put into their music; it’s vibrant, uplifting, and always puts me on my toes. It helps me stay motivated and in rhythm, whether I’m working or just taking a break.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
As a child, I always pictured myself becoming an engineer. I followed that path and studied Civil Engineering, but over time I discovered a real passion for creativity and communication, which naturally led me into content marketing. Looking back, I see it as a shift from building physical structures to building content strategies and campaigns that have an impact.
What are you happiest doing, when you are not working?
I’m happiest when I can disconnect and recharge. Meditation is my go to, it helps me step away from daily pressures and just enjoy the space of my imagination. I also love taking walks, especially in nature. There’s something calming about being in the woods that clears my mind and gives me a fresh perspective.
What is your hidden talent?
My hidden talent is a bit quirky. I have this tendency to imagine scenarios or ideas, and often, they end up unfolding in real life. Friends joke that it’s a touch of prophecy, but I think it comes from being very intuitive and observant. It’s helped me in marketing too, because I’m often able to anticipate trends or outcomes before they fully take shape.
What is one of your favourite quotes?
A quote I really like is by Albert Einstein:
‘Creativity is intelligence having fun.’It resonates with me because in marketing, the best work comes from combining data and strategy with creativity.
