What is usually playing in your headphones?
Country has been my favourite music genre ever since I can remember. But if someone asks me the artist or the name of any given song, I likely won’t know the answer… I’m not loyal to any artist in particular, I just like listening to whatever’s new.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I went back and forth between wanting to be an event planner and someone who designed magazine layouts. Funny enough, it turns out I ended up blending pieces from each of those roles into what I do now—although I feel it’s safe to say that I’ve landed a bit closer to the magazine layouts career.
What are you happiest doing, when you are not working?
Easy: Either spending time with my husband and our two fur babies or hitting up a hot yoga class.
We have an Australian shepherd and a border collie/hound mix, so really doing anything with them is what makes me happiest. I would consider myself to be living my best life whether we’re out for a family hike or snuggled up on the couch watching a new series—anything with them by my side.
I’m also a huge hot yoga fan. I went to my first class a few years ago and have been hooked ever since. If I’m not working or spending time with the family, you can probably find me at the yoga studio.
What is your hidden talent?
Not really a hidden talent per se, but am fairly decent at playing Mexican Train dominoes.
What is one of your favourite quotes?
Your life doesn’t get better by chance, it gets better by change.
