WHAT IS USUALLY PLAYING IN YOUR HEADPHONES?
I am the cool, calm, and collected type, so naturally, I always have Sade, Alina Baraz, Masego, and H.E.R. running on repeat.
WHEN YOU WERE A CHILD, WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU GREW UP?
I wanted to be a model. I loved the idea of seeing my photo in Times Square or a magazine. I was actually signed with an agency both when I was a baby and as a teenager and had some fun times at photoshoots, but I was too shy back then to actually pursue the dream by putting myself out there. Thankfully, Instagram holds that spot in my heart where I can shine in my little corner of the universe.
WHAT ARE YOU HAPPIEST DOING, WHEN YOU ARE NOT WORKING?
First, I’m happiest when I’m with my family. We could be doing absolutely nothing but when we are together, it’s bliss. Secondly, I LOVE cooking and exploring new foods. I cook three meals per day and can’t wait to try new recipes every Tuesday and Thursday.
WHAT IS YOUR HIDDEN TALENT?
I can eat an enormous amount of food. My husband always jokes that I prep our meals for a football team but I just really love to push myself in the kitchen and come up with great new dishes. Leftovers? Huh? What are those? Lol!
WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR FAVOURITE QUOTES?
Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t—you’re right. – Henry Ford
