WHAT IS USUALLY PLAYING IN YOUR HEADPHONES?
I’m the rare person who listens to nothing but the sounds of life throughout the workday. When I’m cooking or running errands, I listen to podcasts. I love anything by Pushkin Industries or Brené Brown. If I am listening to music, if you guess that I’m listening to Taylor Swift, you’re correct 90% of the time.
WHEN YOU WERE A CHILD, WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU GREW UP?
I remember wanting to be an author, a teacher, and an interior designer. Most of all, I wanted to be a lawyer. I thought that they knew all of the rules (I love knowing things). I also thought that lawyers always drive nice cars (you know, the important things in life).
WHAT ARE YOU HAPPIEST DOING, WHEN YOU ARE NOT WORKING?
The simple things. I enjoy reading, traveling, and hanging out with my family.
WHAT IS YOUR HIDDEN TALENT?
Cat Whispering. Seriously, wherever I go, cats find and befriend me. Once, when my husband and I were visiting Portland, we had 7 cats approach us and follow us on our walk.
WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR FAVOURITE QUOTES?
“Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?”
- from Poem 133: The Summer Day by Mary Oliver
