Over the past few years, we’ve been publishing a wide range of content marketing breakdowns that marketers have loved and learned from. These pieces have made the front page of Reddit, the top of Hacker News, and have made the databases of some of the top VCs, marketing agencies, growth teams, and SaaS brands in the world.
I’ve received countless emails, DMs, text messages, and even Zoom calls from people talking about how our growth breakdowns have helped them grow their businesses. It’s been an absolute joy and thrill to contribute ideas, thoughts, breakdowns, and stories that have helped so many marketers build strategies and plans that drive results.
It’s not just me. The team over the years ranging from Ryan and Jessica to Precious and Ethan have all contributed greatly to the collection of breakdowns that exist at Foundation. Many of these breakdowns have stood the test of time and make for what I believe are some of the best reads on the internet on marketing, growth, SEO, content, and more.
But you likely haven’t read all of them.
Why?
Because not all of these pieces have been publicly available.
Over the last few years, we’ve been offering our exclusive research behind a paywall for premium insights & research subscribers. We so appreciate all those who have subscribed over the years and we hope that the value that you’ve gotten as a member paid dividends.
Today, we’re announcing that we’re shifting our sails…
We’ve always believed in the idea that content can shape culture and looking at the state of affairs today – with tech layoffs happening every single day – I want to do something to give back to the community that has done so much for me.
When I first got into marketing, I lived in overdraft.
I couldn’t afford tickets to events. I couldn’t afford the paid courses online. And I can remember being so broke that I had to second-guess speaking at an event because I wasn’t sure I could afford the gas needed to fill up my car to get to the location.
I’m sure a lot of marketers right now are looking at their empty calendars, thinking that now is the time to level up. And I 100% agree… I’m not going to sugarcoat the market for anyone. I made a prediction back in December that layoffs were going to be bad this year, and I don’t think that’s going to slow down any time soon.
Yes. I believe that AI is going to revolutionize the world. But I also think that AI is going to leave a lot of people without work.
So… We’re going to refund everyone who paid for an annual subscription on Labs within the next 48 hours. Our paid subscriptions will officially be turned off for the rest of 2024 and we will revisit the move in January 2025.
If you had a monthly subscription, your account will not be set to renew and you will not be automatically charged.
We so appreciate your support and hope the exclusive content, fireside chats and research was ridiculously helpful in your own work and career.
But for everyone else reading this…
It’s now all available.
Every breakdown.
Every fireside chat.
Every research piece.
You will now have access to over 40+ breakdowns covering some of the most fascinating growth strategies and techniques in SaaS. We’ve compiled a list of all these breakdowns and have put them in one place so you can go find the case study that is relevant to you.
But there is one catch.
I need you to do me a favor.
This is a favor that might do you no benefit at all.
But it’s a favor that might change the trajectory of someone else’s career.
I want you to share the link to these breakdowns with someone you know that might be struggling to find their next job. I want you to share the link to these breakdowns with your own network (you never know who will benefit from it) or I want you to keep it all for yourself – go read something and apply it in your own work so you can win.
That’s all I ask.
I want more people to benefit from this work.
I want more people to succeed because of this research.
I want more people to improve and be BETTER than AI because of this decision.
Alright.
That’s it for now. I hope you can use these breakdowns to do something great.
Enjoy and let me know if you have any questions.
