As our Fractional Recruiter, your mission is to help us identify, engage, and hire top-tier marketing talent across North America. You’ll play a key role in shaping our team by leading hiring processes for roles across content marketing, paid media, strategy, and operations, all while ensuring a world-class candidate experience and alignment with our values.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to scope roles, draft job descriptions, and define ideal candidate profiles
  • Proactively source and engage high-quality candidates using a mix of outbound channels (LinkedIn, niche communities, referrals)
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process—from sourcing to offer—while keeping candidates and hiring teams informed and aligned
  • Conduct first-round interviews to assess candidate fit based on role requirements and Foundation’s async, remote-first culture
  • Coordinate interview logistics and feedback collection, ensuring a smooth and professional process throughout
  • Track and report on key hiring metrics, and iterate on process improvements to enhance quality and speed of hires
  • Support the development of a talent pipeline that aligns with Foundation’s current and future hiring needs

Key Performance Indicators

  • Fill open roles within 30–45 days on average.
  • Present 3–5 qualified candidates per role who meet at least 80% of the job requirements and the identified Culture Index pattern(s).
  • Maintain an interview-to-offer ratio of 50% or higher.
  • Achieve an offer acceptance rate of 90% or above.
  • Receive an average hiring manager satisfaction score of 4.5/5 or higher.
  • Maintain a candidate experience rating of 4.5/5 or above.
  • Keep a healthy pipeline with clear visibility into sourcing stages for each role.
  • Identify 2+ high-performing sourcing channels per hiring campaign.
  • Build and sustain a bench of 15–25 pre-vetted candidates for core roles.
  • Grow the overall talent pool by 10–15% each quarter.

Who You Are

You’re an experienced recruiter who thrives in fast-paced, remote environments and loves connecting great people with great teams. You’ve worked inside agencies or tech companies and understand what it takes to hire top performers across marketing roles, from content creators to paid media specialists. You’re proactive, process-oriented, and skilled at building pipelines from scratch. Experience:
  • 5–7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a digital marketing agency or B2B SaaS environment
  • Proven track record of hiring for marketing-specific roles (Content, Paid, Strategy, etc.)
  • Strong sourcing abilities and familiarity with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Workable, and Notion
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to guide hiring teams through structured, efficient processes
  • Understanding of async work environments and how to assess candidates for remote-readiness

Position Details

  • This is a remote, contract role (10–20 hours/week)
  • Remote – open to Canada (employee) or global contractors
