Daria is a Fractional Recruiter who specializes in helping B2B startups in the web2 and web3 spaces hire exceptional talent and build strong, cohesive teams. She moved to Poland from Belarus three years ago (accompanied by her magnificent corgi). Her professional passion aligns with her personal interests in games: from playing to design, and she even participates in game jams with her team. Daria is known for her distinct sense of humor, producing an insane amount of dad jokes, and she also enjoys dancing (high heels and contemporary) and practicing a bit of lightsaber fighting. She is eager to connect and discuss careers, projects, the future of hiring, or, of course, dogs.

Here’s a brief glimpse into Daria’s personality:

What is usually playing in your headphones?

I generally alternate between two things: the epic, instrumental rock of Maybeshewill when I need to focus or feel motivated. But for true nostalgia and a calming backdrop, I often put on The Sims 2 Complete Soundtrack—it’s oddly comforting and great background music!

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was growing up, I was determined to become a politician! I thought it was the most important job, and I really wanted to be the one giving those very important interviews on TV. I suppose the desire to communicate important ideas and influence outcomes has always been there, even if I found a better place for it in recruiting.

What are you happiest doing, when you are not working?

I am happiest when I am playing TTRPG (Tabletop Role-Playing Games). It’s the perfect way to combine creativity, strategic thinking, and hanging out with friends. Nothing beats getting together and diving into an immersive, collaborative story.

What is your hidden talent?

I have a knack for seeing patterns in chaos; I can quickly analyze a messy situation, whether it’s a hiring process or a complex project, and bring structure to it. I also seem to be able to turn almost everything into a game or a fun challenge, which definitely helps keep things engaging!

What is one of your favourite quotes?

Es muss sein

Which is German for “It must be.”
