Liliana Escobar Poveda
Liliana, but you can also call her Lili or Lily, is from Colombia and is currently based in Medellín, though she has lived in various cities across the country. She worked in various industries, including law, healthcare, and education, for U.S.-based companies. She studied biology, which fuels her love for nature and exploring new places — though these days, she really enjoys staying in with her two cats. She can be a bit shy, but if you ever need to chat, seek advice, or need assistance, she’s always happy to help. She considers herself a creative, organized, and optimistic person, and she takes pride in consistently delivering high-quality work.

What is usually playing in your headphones?
I’m usually listening to indie music or rock. I wouldn’t be able to name a specific band because I genuinely like so many.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
As a child, I dreamed of becoming either an artist or a scientist. I’ve always had a deep love for nature and fine arts.
What are you happiest doing, when you are not working?
When I’m not working, I’m happiest when I’m out hiking, taking photos, or spending my weekends immersed in oil painting or just sketching.
What is your hidden talent?
My hidden talent is drawing — I can recreate almost anything by observation. It’s a skill I’ve been refining for years. I’m also the person who takes amazing photos of their friends but somehow has the talent of not being photogenic myself.
