As the Senior Director of B2B Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our agency and leading our team to deliver exceptional results for our clients. You will oversee the development and execution of full-funnel marketing strategies that allow our teams to expand contracts and build long-term relationships with our clients. You will also provide leadership and mentorship to our talented team of marketers.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of B2B Marketing to join our leadership team and work closely with the COO to drive our agency’s continued success and growth.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and vision for the B2B marketing practice, guiding the development and execution of B2B marketing strategies that align with client objectives, customer journeys and drive business growth.
- Lead client engagements, serving as the primary strategic advisor and driving the development of full-funnel marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives that deliver measurable results and exceed client expectations.
- Build and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships, serving as a trusted partner and advisor to senior clients and identifying opportunities for organic growth and account expansion.
- Lead business development efforts within your account oversight to pitch new business, secure new client partnerships, and drive revenue growth for the agency.
- Oversee the development and execution of marketing efforts across the full customer journey, including digital, content, social media, distribution, email, paid, and events, ensuring alignment with client objectives and KPIs.
- Provide strategic guidance and direction to cross-functional teams, including strategy and production, to ensure seamless execution of our strategic recommendations.
- Drive innovation and thought leadership within the B2B marketing practice, staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices and sharing insights with clients and internal teams.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team of marketing professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and support to foster their growth and development within the organization.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance and client metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and improvement and ensuring the achievement of client KPIs and ROI targets.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to contribute to the development of strategic plans and objectives and drive overall business growth and success.
Qualifications for the Role:
- 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a proven track record of success in strategic client-facing roles within a marketing agency.
- 5 + years of people leadership experience.
- Deep expertise in B2B marketing strategy, including journey development, demand generation, account-based marketing, funnel optimization, content marketing, digital marketing, and lead nurturing.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships, driving organic growth, and securing new business opportunities.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of marketing professionals.
- Exceptional async communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels of an organization.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
- Experience with marketing technology platforms, analytics tools, and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Excel) is a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
