SAAS CASE STUDY

How One Brand Dominated the Market Through Backlinks

Today, we unfold the success story of a remarkable journey embarked upon by the Foundation team and a renowned digital design tool brand — a journey characterized by deep research, strategic planning, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Let’s delve deeper into this transformative voyage.

Background and Objectives

In August 2021, a partnership blossomed with a shared vision to elevate the brand’s market position through a robust SEO strategy. The primary objectives were clear:

  • Boost organic traffic with a focus on product pages
  • Craft content assets to foster brand awareness
  • Build a scalable, content-centric traffic engine

Our Solution

The roadmap to success was carved through meticulous research and analysis, laying down a comprehensive SEO-driven content marketing strategy. The approach was multifaceted, encompassing:

  • Development of high-volume, keyword-targeted content
  • Launch of a link-building campaign
  • Continuous performance monitoring and recommendations

Deliverables and Results

The journey culminated in the acquisition of a staggering 632 high-quality backlinks, surpassing our initial goal by 114%. This achievement stands as a testament to the transformative power of a well-crafted backlink strategy, revitalizing keywords and securing remarkable improvements across target pages.

👀 What’s the Latest in B2B SaaS This Week?

The U.S. Senate is convening a high-profile forum on artificial intelligence (AI) safeguards, bringing together tech leaders, including Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, and Sundar Pichai, along with other CEOs and senators, to discuss the future of AI regulation.

Early-stage venture capital firm Big Sky Capital has launched a new fund with $20 million to invest in enterprise SaaS startups, focusing on amounts of $250,000 to $500,000 in areas such as cybersecurity, health technology, and FinTech.

The invite-only microblogging platform Bluesky has reached a milestone of 1 million users and plans to continue sending out invite codes to grow its user base. Its main rival, X, claims over 500 million users

The SEC now requires U.S. public companies to report cyberattacks, affecting meeting planners working with these firms. This rule, effective from September 5, 2023, could lead to SEC investigations into planners’ cybersecurity measures following a data breach. The policy aims to reduce cybercrime underreporting and offer shareholders more information.

🧠 This Week’s Brain Food

If you’re reading this, it’s pretty likely that you have the option to work remotely, and I’m certain you know someone who does. Foundation’s a fully remote company, so we’re very familiar with its benefits.

But I know there are still doubters out there, so I want to let you know how well it works for us.

A Global Talent Pool

For organizations, remote work opens up the doors to a global talent pool. Companies can hire the best talent from anywhere in the world, breaking free from geographical constraints and fostering a diverse and inclusive work culture.

Personalized Work Environments

Remote work allows individuals to design their workspace according to their preferences, fostering a comfortable and personalized work environment. This personal touch can lead to increased productivity and a happier work life.

Work-Life Balance Reimagined

The remote work model empowers individuals to maintain a healthier work-life balance. By eliminating commute time and offering flexible work hours, employees can manage their time efficiently, spend more quality time with their families, and pursue hobbies that enrich their lives.

Cost Efficiency

Remote work can significantly reduce overhead costs for organizations. From saving on office space to utility bills, the financial benefits are substantial, allowing companies to invest in growth and employee well-being.

Innovation and Autonomy

Remote work fosters a culture of autonomy, encouraging individuals to take initiative and be proactive. This autonomy can spur innovation, with employees bringing fresh perspectives and solutions to the table.

I know I’ve loved remote work, and for those still uncertain about it, I encourage you to give it a shot. And hey, if you have any questions, you know who has 15 years of experience with it!

(Hint: It’s us. We do.)
