Swipe the Content Repurposing Blueprint Used By Canva, Mailchimp, and Eventbrite
Content repurposing can work with any piece of high-value content you’ve created.
But, not every piece of content is worth repurposing.
Read that again.
So: how do you make content repurposing work well — so well, in fact, that it brings you outsized business results?
Stay with me…
In this episode of What’s Your Process, Ross Simmonds breaks down the exact content repurposing and distribution strategy he’s used to help brands like Canva, Mailchimp, and Eventbrite turn their content into growth engines.
What you’ll learn:
- The 4 E’s framework for deciding what’s worth repurposing
- How to nail your content-user and channel-user fit

How vidIQ Built a YouTube Powerhouse With One Strategic Shift
Most YouTube channels struggle.
vidIQ? They’re dominating.
Numbers don’t lie:
- 2.1M subscribers
- 192M total views
- 96% of social referral traffic
Now, the good news is that these metrics are very doable.
But — you know there had to be a catch, right? — there’s a formula to it. And, in this week’s case study, we uncover the hidden secrets behind vidIQ’s content strategy (also known as its unstoppable growth engine).
(Hint: Hiring Rob Wilson was just the tip of the iceberg…)
You’ll learn:
- The thumbnail redesign that changed everything.
- How trend-hijacking puts them ahead of competitors.
- The content formula that hooks viewers once — and keeps them returning.

🧠 This Week’s Brain Food 🧠
We assume progress is about accumulating knowledge, but often, the key to real breakthroughs is unlearning what we think we know. Neuroscientists call this “cognitive flexibility” — the ability to discard outdated thinking models when new information proves flawed.
One problem: Our brains resist change. We cling tightly to our existing beliefs because they feel stable, even when they no longer serve us.
But imagine where we’d be if great thinkers like Darwin and Einstein had not embraced the discomfort of intellectual humility or failed to question assumptions others took for granted.
So, the next time you encounter an idea that contradicts your worldview, don’t reject it — interrogate it.
Ask yourself: “What if the opposite of what I believe is true?” You can train yourself to be more adaptable by actively seeking perspectives that challenge your own. Growth doesn’t stop at only learning more — it must also be ruthless about letting go of what no longer works.
