As a Content Marketing Strategist, you will harness the power of your marketing skills (quantitive and qualitative) to provide strategic content recommendations to your portfolio of clients.


  • Taking care of multiple clients. At Foundation, we take pride in providing our clients with the best service possible and throwing in a little guac when we can.
  • Leading the research efforts for your clients. Keyword research, audience research, competitor research, backlink research, social media research, and more. You’ll be looking for the nuggets of data signals that you can use to create a strategic roadmap for your clients.
  • Ignite the execution of the content strategies you’re leading. You’ll be briefing our content production teams to ensure we create content that is rooted in strategy.
  • Ensure amplification of content through social distribution. You’ll be building distribution strategies to ensure we are creating content for your clients that is reaching the masses.
  • Analyzing and optimizing towards tactics that are driving results.
  • You’ll be reporting weekly on key performance metrics and making adjustments to optimize toward success. You’ll track conversion rates, ROI, earned links, SERP metrics, and more!
  • Identify content gaps through SEO research and make topic recommendations ongoing that open clients up to new opportunities to achieve their content marketing goals.
  • Lead client presentations and weekly performance sync calls to ensure the strategy you presented is on track.
  • Supporting new business and process development internally as needed.


  • Passion for content marketing, SEO & SaaS
  • Interest in B2B SaaS industry as a whole
  • Good understanding of SEO best practices
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively manage time and work autonomously
  • Ability to communicate effectively & work asynchronously with other team members and clients (Foundation is 100% remote)
  • Self-starter who is comfortable with an ever-changing environment
  • Energetic with a drive to succeed
  • High energy and not afraid to tackle a challenge head-on
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of SEO tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs & Buzzstream


  • 2 - 4 years of working for a digital marketing agency in a related position
  • Minimum of 2 years leading client kick-off/discovery meetings
  • Minimum of 2 years of SEO experience
  • Minimum of 2 years leading full-funnel content marketing initiatives
  • Working knowledge of using tools like Ahrefs, SEMRush, Sparktoro, Google Analytics, and more.
