As a Content Marketing Strategist, you will harness the power of your marketing skills to own the relationship with CMOs, VPs of Marketing, Head of Content and other roles at B2B SaaS companies and act as their confidant and strategic advisor on how they run their content marketing engine. You need to be good with people and provide strategic and tactical insight in a way that the C-suite can understand and the front-line team can act upon.


  • You will communicate ideas, optimizations and strategic recommendations that allow our clients to achieve their content marketing goals (increased organic traffic and MQLs that lead to SQLs).
  • You will understand your client's business, industry and competitors better than anyone else on your project team and will be seen as a trusted advisor to your clients.
  • You will lead and conduct audience, channel and SEO research, including but not limited to keyword research, audience research, competitor research, backlink research, and social media research to make topic and social distribution recommendations that open clients up to new opportunities to achieve their content marketing goals.
  • You’ll be looking for the nuggets of data signals that you can use to create a strategic roadmap to drive growth for your clients and revenue expansions for our book of clients.
  • Internally, you’ll be briefing our content production teams to ensure we create content rooted in strategy.
  • While content planning for your clients, you will ensure the amplification of content through social distribution. You’ll be building distribution strategies to ensure we create content for your clients that reaches the masses.
  • Present reports on key performance metrics and recommend or implement adjustments to optimize toward success. You’ll present conversion rates, ROI, earned links, SERP metrics, and more.
  • Lead client presentations, client calls and client pitches for expansions.
  • Support new business and process development internally as needed.


  • Passion for content marketing, SEO and social media.
  • Good understanding of SEO best practices, content strategy and social media marketing (with a content lens).
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset.
  • Leadership skills: leading your team and showcasing your expertise to clients.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and work autonomously.
  • Ability to communicate effectively & work asynchronously with other team members and clients (Foundation is 100% remote).
  • Ability to problem solve and showcase comfort in an ever-changing environment.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.


  • 2 - 4 years of working for a digital marketing agency in a related position with SaaS.
  • Minimum of 2 years recommending agency services to clients successfully.
  • Minimum of 2 years leading client kick-off/discovery meetings.
  • Minimum of 2 years of SEO experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years leading full-funnel content marketing initiatives.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of tools like Ahrefs, SEMRush, SparkToro, Google Analytics, and more.
