Ana Mercedes Orozco is an Executive Assistant at Foundation with an academic background that spans Economics and a Master’s in Fashion Design from Barcelona — a combination that says a lot about how she thinks.
Having worked across NGOs, startups, and multinational companies in multiple countries, she brings a genuinely global perspective and a holistic understanding of how organizations operate. Her path to executive support wasn’t accidental — it was the natural result of a mind wired for anticipating needs, solving problems before they surface, and making sure the people around her can focus on what matters most.

What is usually playing in your headphones?
My playlist is very mood-driven. I’m a big fan of 80s music, but I also love Latin music — reggaeton, salsa, rancheras. Whatever fits the moment and the task.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
An Olympic gymnast. That was the dream, and I held onto it for a while.
What are you happiest doing, when you are not working?
Making things with my hands. I love crafts — especially handmade jewelry. It’s how I slow down, reset, and let a different kind of creativity take over.
What is your hidden talent?
I have a deeply creative side that doesn’t always show up in a spreadsheet. Design, handmade work, building something from nothing — that’s where I come alive outside of work.
